Cello virtuoso, cellist, studio musician and teacher from Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Born in St. Petersburg and has lived in Germany since 1995. She studied at the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in St. Petersburg and at the Musikhochschule Frankfurt and has the ability to combine two traditions, the Russian and the European, in her cello playing. Liudmila Firagina teaches violoncello in Frankfurt and Hanau. She also gained a lot of stage experience with various other musical projects. With the "ART Duo" (cello & bayan), the cello quartet "Cellicats" and as a cellist with Farin Urlaub, Dick Brave, Der W, Bob Dawn and »The Las Vegas Revival Show«. Liudmila Firagina is also active as a lecturer, e.g. in 2013 at the Moscow cello festival "Mastera muzyki" together with Giovanni Sollima.
