Piano "Wild Man" Dan Doran from Kansas City, Missouri was a regular client and session player on early Chapman Recording & Mastering tracks. Dan played with many local acts including The Bourbon Cowboys, The Dixie Cadillacs, and founded the Dan Doran Band in 1988 after a long stint playing with Little Hatch. The Dan Doran Band recorded their first album in 1991 titled "Alive In Kansas City". He would go on to release two more solo albums. Dan passed away on August 3, 2016, at the age of 64.
