In 1990, he emigrated to Israel, and the orchestra was soon headed by Sofia Naumovna Propischan = Софья Пропищан, associate professor (now Honored Artist of Russia, professor) and successor to S. L. Yaroshevich as head of the department of stringed instruments. Under the auspices of the conservatory, the orchestra existed until 1992. In 1994, the Sofia Chamber Orchestra = Камерный оркестр «София» received the status of a municipal organization. This long-awaited resource allowed the musicians to concentrate entirely on orchestral work, and the next decade of the group became its career springboard. Regular concerts, interesting projects and collaboration with the best musicians have grown an army of fans of the young orchestra. The 2003–2004 season was a turning point in the life of the team. The orchestra invites the legendary musician Igor Zhukov as conductor to the final concert of the season. The latest important trends of the Soloists are focused on long-term collaboration with Daniil Grishin = Даниил Гришин, who since 2015 has been performing with the orchestra not only as a soloist, but also as the main guest conductor. Each joint concert is a cultural sensation and a new evolutionary step. The iconic territory of the musicians’ creativity has become the “little explored areas” of the peaks of the quartet genre, the highest of which can be called Beethoven’s last Quartet. The orchestral version of the quartet in the conductor's concept is a way to expand the audience of chamber music. In 2017, the orchestra and Daniil Grishin successfully toured in Sarov and Kazan. In the field of historical performing practice, the orchestra collaborates extensively and successfully with another famous Nizhny Novgorod resident, a versatile musician and sought-after conductor, Maxim Emelyanychev. The symphonic trend of “Soloists” is largely associated with it. Joint posters provocatively proclaim the cult works of Viennese classicism and its immediate “entourage”. In 2017, the French record company Aparté released the musicians' first joint disc. In 2020, the quintet of “Soloists” performed in Paris on the stage of the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, and in 2021, the orchestra and conductor played in the Zaryadye Hall, Moscow (Mozart’s symphonies Nos. 39, 40, 41). The concert was broadcast live to an Internet audience of millions and twice more recorded on Russian State TV & Radio Company Kultura.
