Sentient Number Six

Darkpsy / Psychedelic trance project based in USA ~ Pure, ritualistic Darkpsy from the Appalachian Mountains ~ Sentient Number Six is the darkpsy project of Matthew Martinez, who was born in the USA near Washington, DC in 1992. Having discovered his passion for music at the age of 11, he dedicated himself to the guitar. After relocating to Boston, Massachusetts to begin his studies at Berklee College of Music, he was introduced to the underground electronic music scene through some friends, and began to shift his focus from the guitar towards music production. His production style is characterized by deep, ominous basslines, immersive, layered atmospheres, and a uniquely designed palette of organic and synthetic leads. "To me, every track is a ritual in and of itself. I strive to create an intentional, emotional journey for the listener, culminating in an authentic and transcendant dancefloor experience."
