Swedish musician, composer and singer, born October 15, 1952 in Karlstad. She has, among other things, together with her husband Peter Wanngren, in their company Musikrummet, created music for children. She has written over 200 published songs for children and, in collaboration with Peter Wanngren, has been active as an artist and musician since the 1970s in the singing group Pastellerna and in the group Ritz, participated in shows and revues with, for example, Lasse Berghagen, was a field artist in Lebanon and in Cyprus in 1986 and participated in Melodifestivalen three times. For 10 years, they also toured the folk parks with the performance Svingelskogen, she in the role of Kirre Kurre. For this performance, they both also wrote almost all the music. She also works in the "Barnens katedral" in Norrstrand's parish in Karlstad and as a teacher in children's choir methodology at Geijerskolan. She was awarded the Alice Tegnér Music Prize in 2004 for her outstanding work with children's music. For the album Majas Alfabetssånger, the couple received a Grammy in 1993 and in 2001 it sold a gold disc.
