Ditlev Ludvig Rogert

Danish High Court judge, violinist and composer (1742–1813) mainly known for posthumously being credited as composer of the Danish royal anthem "Kong Christian stod ved højen mast". The song was for long credited to the later Johan Peter Emilius Hartmann but in the late 19th century is was commonly accepted that it was adapted from Rogert's original composition. The song was adopted as a national anthem in 1780.
