Об исполнителе:
Swedish folk music violinist, born April 1, 1946 in Orsa parish in Kopparberg county. He has his roots in Malung and began during his years of study in Uppsala in the late 1960s, together with Kalle Almlöf, to take an interest in the older folk music traditions in Västerdalarna. Among other things, they studied Einar Övergaard's records from 1897 in the Dialect and Folk Memory Archive in Uppsala and became central figures in a folk music hearth at Västmanlands-Dala nation in Uppsala, where the interest in folk music was aroused in many future young musicians. Rosén is one of the leading mediators of folk music from Västerdalarna and fiddlers such as Troskari Mats, Spak Erik and Ekor Anders. He has released a long list of music albums, both in his own name and together with, among others, Kalle Almlöf, Roland Keijser (from the group Arbete & fritid) and Pelle Björnlert. He is also the owner of his own record company Hurv.
