A. E. Challinor

Director of Music, Flight Lieutenant A. E. Challinor who died at the early age of forty two in 1968. He served as Bandmaster of the Central band of the RAF before being commissioned in 1957 and going on to command three Regional Bands and the now defunct Central Band of the Women's Royal Air Force. His 'Flying Review' is a fine parade ground march.
