Wilkie Hill Jr.

Wilkie Hill Jr. a very accomplished guitarist and musician was born in Macon Ga. He acquired a love for music at a very young age, watching his father and grandfather play the guitar and sing with their gospel group, the Knights of Harmony. Wilkie formed his first band in the 7th grade; he kept practicing and learning his craft and, in high school, he formed his second band and began playing different venues in and around Macon. After graduating from high school, he formed another band, Wilkie And The Wayy, and they became popular opening band for many famous groups. He was signed to Cold Wave Records in 1986 where his first single entitled Everybody's Crazy in the Hood was released. After leaving Cold Wave Records, Wilkie was signed to Bellmark Records in 1992. During his music career he has collaborated with many artists including Gwen McCray, rapper T.I. and Fill Mob to name a few.
