MADJAH'B, born in 1980, originally from Martinique (Schelchoer, Lamentin), discovered Raggamuffin in 1990 through certain Jamaican and French-speaking artists in vogue of the moment. From his origins, he adopts the pseudonym MADJAH'B which is the contraction of the names Madinina, JAH L'Eternel and his name BERNABE. He grew up in Tremblay in France, wrote his first militant texts in 1995 and chained the studios in parallel. Then, he begins his first scenes in his city accompanied by rappers. At the beginning of 98, he recorded his models and approach with producers until the day he stood out during the summer podium, organized by the radio Média Tropical of the time. Following this meeting, his first album entitled "Lévé lanmin" was released in 1999, featuring two toasters: Originale Ganjaman and Phénoménal William'see. In order to promote his opus, MADJAH'B toured many renowned Parisian nightclubs of the moment. He criss-crosses France (Bourges, Orléans, Nice, etc.) as well as Belgium and multiplies performances on Reunion Island where the title “Mwen té inmin vou” was ranked number 1 in the hit parades. The latter was associated with several Caribbean compilations such as Boulevard des îles, Compil 2000, Zouk Stars... With his experience acquired in the musical field, he decided to produce a second album entitled "La vie est bien" which was released at the end of the year 2001. A varied and witty album of which several titles (Life is like this, Desperate Woman, Wo'y Wo'y) were broadcast on the airwaves and allowed him to enter the Parisian hit parades. In 2002, MADJAH'B was invited on Daniel Roger's album, "Divine". Shortly after, during a scene in Colombes, he met GREG LAÏON through a mutual friend, Freddy a.k.a Ganjaman and has kept the connection ever since. In 2003, he appeared on the hip hop mix tape produced by BIS prod "It's the same shit". The same year, MADJAH'B was contacted by his cousins, Steam and Fabrice SERVIER who planned a compilation called RACE TEMPORED. On this one, MADJAH LAION suits were also made. In 2005, Hervé HURTEBISE, childhood friend of MADJAH'B, appreciating the MADJAH LAION vibe, decided to create his own production company "HURTEBISE Records" to produce them. They started with some recordings in Paris. Then, they subsequently made a stay in Jamaica in order to bring an enriching musical touch and perform renowned featurings.
