Martin Josman

Martin Josman was the conductor of the National Chorale, a professional choral repertory company in the United States. He was Music Director of the New York Choral Society, which he founded, and led and developed the Society from its 1959 debut through its 1965 to 1970 Choral Festivals at Carnegie Hall and Philharmonic Hall. Mr. Josman appeared as conductor-host of the annual "Messiah Sing-Ins" at Philharmonic Hall and "Sing-Ins" at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, New York. On television he was Music Director and Conductor for a National Educational Television feature, "Bach and His Sons: The Overwhelming Legacy."
