Andrzej Sidło

Polish guitarist, guitar teacher. He graduated from the music school in Katowice and already in the seventies he participated in several more or less permanent projects. The guitarist was active in the bands Partita, Familia, Bractwo Kurkowe and Pro Contra. In 1979 in Szczecin, Andrzej met Romuald Czystaw. They played together in group Familia. Thanks to this acquaintance, guitarist started working in 1982 with the band Budka Suflera. 80s in Poland were a period of great uncertainty, it was difficult to make any far-reaching plans in those realities. The band was willing to continue working together, giving the guitarist time until the end of 1984 to make a decision. Andrzej chose a different solution, however. While in Stuttgart in June 1984, he decided to stay there permanently. Despite the difficult and distant move, Sidło did not part with music, he played as a session guitarist, played in clubs, European pubs and also in the USA. He used various opportunities to make music and meet people with whom he could work. A few years later, he founded his own music school in Stuttgart, and it turned out to be a profession to which he devoted himself fully. Andrzej Sidło regularly visits Poland and spends his vacation here.
