Born: September 20, 1935, Budapest, Hungary Died: October 8, 2017, Budapest, Hungary Hungarian singer, favorite of the audience in the 1960s. He was the Hungarian representative of the Italian hits at that time. He won several song contests, for his song, 'Isten veled, édes Piroskám', he was awarded the first gold record in the history of the Hungarian music record publishing. His first album was released in 1969, however he sang abroad in the 1970s. After returning back, in 1986, he recorded his next album, followed by new ones written by Kaszás Péter. During his 50 years career, besides the domestic appearances, he performed in numerous European countries as well, even in Canada, the U.S.A. and Australia.
