Portuguese arranger and lyricist born 29 January 1929 in Setúbal, came to live in Lisbon as a child and in the capital died in December 2003. António José Lopes Lampreia started singing very early, writing four records - but he quickly discovered that his true calling was to write lyrics for songs and wrote passionately hundreds of poems that were composed by numerous composers and sung by Portuguese artists and some Brazilians of named like Amália, Tony de Matos, Marco Paulo, Augustine of the Santos and Fafá de Belém. And also Adamo, Joan Manuel Serrat and Julio Iglésias sang their versions when they recorded in Portuguese. He also wrote for the Popular Marches of all the Lisbon neighborhoods, winning the Great March of Lisbon in 1994 and 1997 ("Lisboa de Ver o Mar", with music by Ferrer Trindade and "Lisbon de Pé no Chão", with music by Jorge Costa Chick). Some of his successes songs are "Procuro e Não Te Encontro", "Nasci Contra o Vento", "Agora ou Nunca", "Eu Tenho dois Amores" e "De Cá para Lá".
