Christer Hellqvist (2)

The Swedish classical guitarist Christer Hellqvist began studying the guitar in Sweden under Enrique Garcia Calamita and Gunnar Lif, both of whom teach in the Spanish tradition. He continued his studies in Spain Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid under the guidance of Professor José Luis Rodrigo and of Professor José Alicante. Christer Hellqvist teaches Geijerskolan in Ransärer, Sweden. He plays a 10-stringed guitar built by Paulino Barnabe (Madrid).
